Andrea Gibbs Pickens, principal owner of Tri-County Ford is following the family tradition of being a Ford Motor Company Dealer. Andrea's family have been members of the Ford Motor Company Family for over 75 years. Family members from four generations who have served the Tri-County / Cedar Creek Lake area since 1933 are J.C. Gibbs, Alex Harrill, Andrew Gibbs, Andrea Gibbs Pickens and Chris Pickens. J.C. Gibbs grew up in the area and served as Van Zandt County Commissioner for 12 years.

His son, Andrew Gibbs, was 19 years old when he began working for Tri-County Ford in Mabank. Following his service in the United States Navy, Andrew became the owner of the dealership and began the long-term expansion program that has brought the business to its present status. Andrew's wife Alene, was a partner in the business until her death and Andrea, Andrew's daughter, was made full partner in the business in 1985 and became the dealer upon her father's death in 1995. Her son, Chris Pickens, holds the position of Service Manager, and her other son, Alex Harrill, holds the position of General Manager.
