2021 Ford F-150
Ford redesigned the all-new F-150 from the ground up. This purpose-built truck is the toughest, most productive model to roll into dealer showrooms — ever. It merges premium-grade muscle with finely tuned technology to help you work and play harder and smarter than ever. Stick around as we unveil Ford's flagship pickup.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
True to its legacy, this new generation F-150 comes with choices. Pick from one of six trims, two- or four-wheel drive, and three cab styles, starting with the base XL. Step up to the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and the range-topping Limited. There's also the new Tremor series with all the bells and whistles.
The 2021 F-150 shows off a bold body style. Ford moved the wheels out to give it a more aggressive stance. Additional exterior updates include wrap-around bumpers, an updated headlamp design, and a new power dome hood. With 11 available grille options across the lineup, there's something for every taste.

Engine (Power)
The big news from Ford is a bona fide hybrid powertrain option. It's the first of its kind for the F-150, and it combines a 3.5-liter V-6 with a 35-kilowatt electric motor. This system delivers a maximum of 11,300 pounds of towing prowess and an outstanding 700-mile range thanks to its innovative regenerative braking setup.
For traditional gasoline engine choices, the base model's 3.3-liter V-6 produces 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The available 2.7-liter turbocharged power plant offers 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of rotational force. The biggest engine is the 5-liter V-8. It produces 395 ponies and 400 pound-feet of torque and features cylinder deactivation to improve its fuel economy. Ford will also launch the 2021 F-150 with a 3-liter diesel option. All engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Performance
Most truck owners use their F-150s for building projects and outdoor activities. That's why Ford put an electric power source where it's needed most. This Pro Power Onboard system is built into the truck's bed and eliminates the need for an external generator. What's more, the tailgate doubles as a convenient workbench.
This beast also comes with brains. The blue oval designed the F-150 as an attractive option for commercial applications. It offers a telematics platform to help business owners better manage their fleets. It's also the first light-duty truck to come with over-air updates. With this electronic architecture, the future is here today. Ford's Active Drive Assist hands-free driving system works on more than 100,000 miles of prequalified roadways.

Interior
Ford's designers reworked the F-150's interior space. It added features like a transforming center console that makes for a handy work surface and nearly lay-flat front seats for napping. Its cab is comfortable and features quality materials, more storage solutions, and added color choices. The XL model gets a large 8-inch touch screen, or you can get a standard 12-inch, landscape-oriented display on top trims.
Safety Features
Ford offers standard forward collision alert, pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking on the new F-150. Other available safety features include blind-spot alert and rear cross-traffic alert.
